Now that we are sheltering in place at home, it's the perfect time to support local organizations and join the national movement for effective change. Here are some organizations you can support!
The Joy Jackson Initiative
At The Wayward Artist, we believe it is important to ensure that our space is a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for BIPOC artists. That is why we are committed to completing the The Joy Jackson Initiative assessment of our space.

OCTG Artist Relief Fund
The Orange County Theatre Guild has set up a relief fund for artists in the Orange County area who have lost gigs, and subsequently financial support due to COVID-19. Artists who are solely dependent on the gig economy need our help right now. You can learn how to support on the OCTG website.
The Theatre Artists’ Union for Student Equity and Diversity (TAUSED) is a student-run activist organization whose focus is advocating for equity, education, safety and well-being of CSUF theatre students. A driving mission for the organization is to address student concerns and bring positive change that will ensure a truly diverse and equitable education for all students, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those with disabilities.
