In 2017, Godspell launched The Wayward Artist, setting the stage for a bold and creative journey. Now, as we enter our next chapter in our new home at IUCC, we return to where it all began—with a fresh, reimagined production of this groundbreaking musical.

A vibrant and modern retelling of the Gospel according to Matthew, Godspell transforms ancient parables into an energetic, theatrical experience filled with humor, heart, and unforgettable music. Set against a backdrop of social change and spiritual awakening, Godspell invites us to build a community of love, justice, and radical inclusion—values that align deeply with both The Wayward Artist and IUCC. Featuring an eclectic score by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin), including beloved songs like Day by Day and Prepare Ye, this production breathes new life into a timeless story, reminding us that hope, kindness, and joy can transform the world.

Join us as we celebrate this new chapter for The Wayward Artist with a Godspell that is bold, progressive, and deeply relevant for today.
