Introducing the 3rd Season of Wayward Voices!

The 2023  Season

We are so excited to continue Wayward Voices, our initiative to produce work by and for BIPOC Artists.

Wayward Voices is a space to amplify, uplift, and empower BIPOC artists. Our goal is to produce work that inspires and activates artists and artists in development.

Wayward Voices will be the foundation of The Wayward Artist's commitment to producing work that reflects the truth of our existence and to tell the many stories that are ready to be let loose into the world.

SOLO, DUO, TRIO

After last year’s successful and touching presentations of Becoming Austin Nation, They Tend to Themselves and Confessions of Your Ethnically Ambiguous Best Friend we are excited to bring back Season two of Wayward Voices’ Solo, Duo, Trio!

Local artists, company members, and former cast members will pitch small format productions that can include anything from storytelling to music to dance. From these submissions, a team of company members will select 2 artists to perform their work.

Wayward Voices will serve as the producer for each project and assist in shaping these pieces as needed.

DONATE

Wayward Voices provides grants to artists who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, our goal is to continue to increase the size of that grant. A donation to the Wayward Voices fund today ensures more amazing art tomorrow and in the future.
